Over-the-Air (hereafter referred as ‘OTA’) software update service for your vehicle system (Battery Management System) is now available. This update provides quality improvement of your BMS module inside the vehicle. Every customer of GV60 using GCS (Genesis Connected Services) is eligible and no extra payment is required as the service is included with Genesis 5 Years Care Services.

Software update campaign
As OTA software update for the Vehicle System, this campaign aims to provide smoother and more efficient remote control for air conditioning and charging functions.
 

1. General Information

  • Target Model - GV60 (JW1)
  • Target Units - BMS (Battery management system)
  • Prerequisite condition - Genesis Connected Services in active state

2. Update event information

  • Purpose - To provide smoother and more efficient remote control for air conditioning and charging functions.
  • Event release -  08. November 2024
  • Expected Lead Time - About 8 Minutes
  • Service Cost - No extra pay is required (It is included with Genesis 5 years care plan)
  • Customer Support during the campaign - Customer supporting due to an issue during the campaign is available through contacting Genesis Call Centre or authorized partner. 
  • Remark - Driving vehicle is not possible during the update, and updating is also available at the Genesis authorized Workshop.
     

The owner of the target vehicle can check the related information from the AVNT (In-vehicle navigation display device) pop-up message ahead of the update installation.
