WHAT'S INCLUDED
COMPREHENSIVE LIMITED - 5 YEARS / 100,000 KM
  • Covers nearly every new vehicle component.
  • Covers repair or replacement of any component manufactured or originally installed by Genesis that is defective in material or factory workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.
  • The following components covered for time and mileage limits indicated:
    - Radio and Sound Systems (i.e. radio, compact disc player, and GPS), DVD system: 3 years / 60,000 Km
    - Paint: 3 years/ 60,000 Km
    - Battery: 2 years / 40,000 Km
    - Adjustments: 1 year / 20,000 Km

POWERTRAIN PROTECTION - 5 YEARS / 100,000 KM
  • Covers most engine and transaxle components.
  • Covers repair or replacement of powertrain components (i.e. selected Engine, Transmission / Transaxle, and 4WD components), originally manufactured or installed by Genesis that are defective in material or factory workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.

BASIC EMISSIONS COVERAGE - 5 YEARS / 100,000 KM
  • The Genesis Emission System Warranty covers the basic emission components unless otherwise specifically provided, for 60 months from the Warranty Registration Date or 100,000 Km, whichever occurs first.

MAJOR EMISSIONS COVERAGE - 8 YEARS / 130,000 KM
  • Covers repair or replacement of the following original Genesis major emissions control components:
    - Catalytic Converter
    - Engine Control Module
    - Onboard Emissions Diagnostic Device (OBDII)

24-HOUR ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE - 5 YEARS / UNLIMITED KM
  • Covers towing, lockout, flat tire changing and battery boosting.
  • Covers vehicle, regardless if current owner is original or subsequent owner.

  • Includes the following full roadside amenities:

Roadside Assistance is a limited service, provided to you to help minimize any unforeseen vehicle operation inconvenience. The Genesis Roadside Assistance Program does not include reimbursement for any costs/charges for repairs, parts, labour, property loss or any other expense incurred as a result of accident/collision, vehicle abuse, racing, vandalism or other items not covered by the Genesis New Vehicle Limited Warranty${'genesis.common.p2.close.tooltip' @ i18n}
REPLACEMENT PARTS - 1 YEAR / 20,000 KM
  • Genuine Genesis replacement parts purchased from and installed by an authorized Genesis service centre will be warranted for 12 months from the installation date, regardless of distance travelled. Engines and Automatic transaxles are covered for 12 months or 20,000 Km, whichever occurs first.
  • Genuine Genesis parts purchased over the counter (not installed at an authorized Genesis Service Centre) are warranted for 12 months from the date of purchase. Only the cost of part is covered under this warranty.
  • Genuine Genesis replacement Parts replaced under the terms of the Genesis New Vehicle Warranty, including powertrain, emission, etc., will be warranted for the remainder of the warranty period applicable to the replaced part.

REPLACEMENT ACCESSORIES - 3 YEARS / 60,000 KM
  • Genuine Genesis Service Centre-installed accessories are warranted for 36 months or 60,000 Km from the Warranty Registration Date, whichever occurs first. If installation occurs after the Warranty Registration Date, warranty coverage is 12 months from the installation date, regardless of distance travelled, or the balance of the 36 months or 60,000 Km coverage, whichever is greater.
  • Genuine Genesis Accessories purchased over the counter (not installed at an authorized Genesis Service Centre) are warranted for 12 months, unlimited kilometres from the date of purchase. Only the cost of accessory is covered under this warranty.

ANTI-PERFORATION WARRANTY - 5 YEARS / UNLIMITED KM
  • Covers perforation, corrosion of any component through the metal body panel from the lower window line down and occurring from the inner to outer surface, corrosion of original Genesis body sheet metal due to defects in material or factory workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.
  • Excludes surface corrosion.

EV SYSTEM WARRANTY - 8 YEARS / 160,000 KM
  • Genesis Motors Canada's EV System Warranty covers the described components up to a total of 96 months from the warranty registration date, or 160,000 km, whichever occurs first.**EV System Warranty is applicable for GV60 and Electrified G80 models only.${'genesis.common.p2.close.tooltip' @ i18n}
  • The following original EV system components which are found to be defective in material and/or workmanship under normal use and maintenance will be covered during the "Warranty Period" described above:
    - EV System (as listed) Motor, Inverter unit, VCM, Reduction gear, DC/DC converter, Onboard charger, Onboard charger connector, Trickle charge cable, In Cable Control Box, High Voltage Battery

HIGH VOLTAGE BATTERY CAPACITY COVERAGE - 8 YEARS / 160,000 KM
  • The Lithium-Ion Battery ("EV Battery") Capacity warranty coverage period is 8 years or 160,000 kms from the Date of First Service, whichever comes first, for capacity loss below 70% of the original battery capacity. This warranty covers repairs needed to return battery capacity to 70% of original battery capacity. If possible, the EV battery components will be repaired or replaced, and the original EV Battery will be returned to the vehicle. If necessary, the EV Battery will be replaced with either a new or remanufactured Lithium-Ion Battery.
  • Any repair or replacement made under this Lithium-Ion Battery Capacity Coverage may not return your Lithium-Ion Battery to an "as new" condition with the original 100% battery capacity. However, it will provide the vehicle with an EV Battery capacity of at least 70% of the original battery capacity.
