Genesis continues its winning streak, having now won seven major Canadian awards this year

MARKHAM, Ontario, February 20, 2021 – Today, the Genesis G80 and GV80 were named winners of their respective categories at the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) Car and Utility Vehicle of the Year awards. The G80 has been awarded Best Mid-Size Premium Car in Canada, and GV80 has won Best Mid-Size Premium Utility Vehicle in Canada. Both vehicles are now eligible to win overall Canadian Car and Canadian Utility Vehicle of the Year for 2021.

This marks the first time that the Genesis brand has been honoured by AJAC and the Canadian Car and Canadian Utility Vehicle of the Year awards. Winners were determined by a jury of more than 80 top Canadian automotive journalists from across the country. Over 250 vehicles were eligible for evaluation.
