This OTA update provides the following improvements to enhance your driving experience:


Enhancements


The communication of the high voltage battery management unit has been improved.


1. Enhanced performance to prevent charging interruption. 

2. Optimised functionality to prevent failure of remote air conditioning.


If any of the above items are already updated to the latest version, the corresponding items will not undergo further updates.

Widely referred to as the vehicle’s “brain,” BMS effectively provides the necessary control information to ensure optimal utilization of batteries, giving EV owners peace of mind.

A key role of the Group’s BMS is precise battery system monitoring. By swiftly detecting any abnormalities in the battery’s performance, it assesses the level of risk and performs necessary safety controls within the vehicle.


3.How will the OTA update be carried out?


Genesis Connected Services-enabled vehicles will soon receive an Over-the-Air (OTA) software update.


When prompted on the vehicle's central display, please select "Install" to complete the update.
