When was the last time you experienced something for the first time?

There has been an overwhelming amount of public interest following the announcement that the GV80 will soon be available to Australian buyers. As a result, Genesis Motors Australia is now able to start sharing some of the GV80’s key features ahead of its scheduled arrival in the latter part of 2020.

Designing desire

The GV80’s sleek, muscular outline is the product of taking the two key qualities that define Genesis – Athleticism and Elegance – and applying them to an SUV platform. The result is a silhouette so desirable, it reinvents what people should expect from the prestige category.

Instantly recognisable

Notice something familiar about the bold design of the front grille and quad lamps? You should, because they’re inspired by the Genesis emblem itself. Beyond the front end, those statement front, side and rear lights have all been aligned to create a set of parallel lines that flow along the entire length of the vehicle.

Three powertrains*

The GV80 offers three superb engine choices – the 2.5L T-GDI (224Kw and 422Nm), the 3.5L V6 T-GDI (279Kw and 530Nm) and the 3.0L VGT in-line 6-cylinder diesel (204Kw and 588Nm). All three are mated with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
